Pure Active Anti Blackhead Face Wash

When I think of Garnier, I mostly think of skincare products whether it be hand moisturisers or face cleansers; hair products are typically an afterthought to be honest.

Garnier haven’t always specialised in skincare products. In fact, when first discovered by Alfred Amour Garnier in 1904, they specialised in hair products. Garnier’s first product was actually a plant-based hair lotion and from then on the company began to specialise in hair-dye products and eventually began introducing skincare products.

I brought this face cleanser ‘Garnier Pure Active Anti-Blackhead Deep Pore Face Wash’ as it was on offer in Superdrug’s.

What I liked about it?

When writing in this section I’m going to be as nice as I possible can be – so, I like the fact that it was a gel formula not a cream one. And THATS IT! Literally, I can’t think of anything nice to say.

What I didn’t like about it?

I didn’t like how it made my face feel tight and dry afterwards. Additionally, I broke out in spots and it caused me to have a build up of blackheads. I also began to look dull and tired.

Appearance:

Clear with blue microbesds

Texture:

Gel

Would I buy it again?

Absolutely not! the only reason I brought this product was because it was on offer and let me tell you this product caused more skins problems than the claims it made it would cure.

Where to purchase this product from?

Boots

Superdrug’s

Bodycare
