Superdrug’s: Naturally Radiant Eye cream

Are eye creams necessary? In my opinion yes they are! The skin around the eyes are a lot thinner compared to the rest of the face therefore a higher concentrated cream is necessary to help target fine lines, dark circles and puffiness. They are many eye creams out in the market ranging from expensive to the damn right affordable products.

This blog will be discussing the “damn right affordable” price point. Superdrug’s have there own range of products that they sell which vary from face cleansers to face serums. Furthermore, the in-house brand that I will be reviewing today is the Naturally Radiant Brightening Eye cream.

The claim:

After 1 week:

Skin around the eye area felt softer and smoother as well as refreshed and energised.

After 4 weeks:

Appearance of dark circles and puffiness is minimised.

Ingredients:

  • Glycerin.
  • Paraffinum Liquidum.
  • Butyrospermum Parkii Butter.
  • Dimethicone.
  • Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract.

What I liked about it?

The cream instantly added radiants around the eyes.

It also added moisture and hydration.

The product penetrated well into the skin and there were no signs of irritation.

What I didn’t like about it?

The appearance of dark circles and puffiness were not reduced! Even after using the entire product, my dark circles stayed the same.

Would I buy it again?

No! As it does not meet what the product claims to do.

Texture:

Lightweight.

Appearance:

White.

Where to purchase this product from:

Superdrug’s £2.89

  1. Such a shame it didn’t do what it claimed! I’ve tried a few things from this range and thought they were okay, I’m not gonna pick this up though! Thanks for sharing xx

    • Have you tried their foam face cleanser? I didn’t like that either! (Written a review on that too) Ive recently brought an eye cream from the bodyshop so will be reviewing that some time soon!
