The bodyshop: Tea Tree Clay Face Mask

Hey guys, I’ve been using the body shop Tea Tree Clay Face Mask on and off now for some time. This product is part of the oil control skincare line which comes with 11 other Tea Tree skincare products. This line would benefit those who have oily combination skin type however, I would always recommend to ask a body shop advisor for a skin consultation. Furthermore, I have only used this mask alongside the face foaming cleanser.  (The review on the latter will be out shortly).

The claims:

Our Tea Tree Skin Clearing Clay Mask helps cleanse, cool and refresh blemished skin without over drying. Enriched with Community Trade tea tree oil, the mask helps clear impurities whilst absorbing excess sebum, leaving skin feeling soothed and looking clearer.

The ingredients:

  • Kaolin
  • Glycerin
  • Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil
  • Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil

What I liked about the product:

It is easy to apply onto the skin with minimal mess.

The product feels cool when applied to the skin.

There is no drying out time.

Can see instant results. Skin and troubled areas appear to have been resolved.

It is suitable for all skin types and does not sting you when applied.

Easy to wash off without any mess.

Can leave it longer then the  recommended time ( I usually leave it on for 30 minutes before washing it off).

What I didn’t like about it:

Nothing, there was absolutely nothing to hate about it.

Would I buy this product again?

This product is a no brainier as it’s suitable for all skin types! So of course I would purchase it again!
