Soap and Glory: Heel Genius or just another dumb product?

Hey guys! If you didn’t already know that I’m a massive fan of Soap and Glory well now you know! I was first introduced to it when I was at university and my flat mate AKA my “sorority sister” would always use this brand and being a sorority sister I would always seize the opportunity to use their products when I could. Being a student meant that Soap and Glory was more of a luxury product (well in my day it was anyhow).

When both of us finished university and we went out own separate ways I was still left hooked on the products and I would alway ask for them as gifts on birthdays, Christmas and also Eid gifts (and we celebrate Eid twice a year, every year!) on that note, I decided to use the Soap and Glory Heel Genius and I was left severely disappointed! This blog isn’t a reflection on the whole brand as I still do love a lot of their collection but just not on this particular product as it just didn’t do anything for me.

The claims:

No mean feet. Feet should be friendly. Soft. Smooth. Even lovely to look at. Massage a generous layer of Soap & Glory Heel Genius™ 125ml onto clean feet every night (or at least as often as you remember). Slip cotton socks overtop and let it soak in while you sleep.

The ingredients

Isononyl isononanoate: leaves skin feel silkily smooth.

Macadamia Integrifolia seed oil: is a fatty acid that includes omega 9 which is brilliant for hydration and softening the skin.

Menthyl lactate and menthol: is a cooling agent.

Sugar cane: is a superb ingredient for exfoliating dead skin cells and dirt from the skin.

What I liked about the product:

The product comes in a blue formula which is pretty awesome and unique if you ask me.

When applied it is non-sticky

It absorbs well into the skin

What I didn’t like about the product:

Apart from the product absorbing into my skin that is all that it did! My cracked heels were left well crack and I noticed no improvements. Even though I did apply the product all over my foot I still didn’t notice any softness or smoothness on my skin.

Creamy and medium to thick in  consistency

Would I purchase this product again?

Yeah only if you enjoy spending your money on product that don’t ACTUALLY work or do what it say on the tin!

Where to buy the product:

Boots: £5.50
