Hiiiii guys! I don’t know about you but during the winter months I find that my lips become dry and flakey. Usually I tend to use a toothbrush to exfoliate my lips just before bedtime and I tend to apply my burt’s Bees lip balm to keep my lips hydrated for the morning. However, lately I’ve started to use this bubblegum sugar lip scrub and initially I’m not sure what I was expecting but this is what I thought of the product.
Key Ingredients:
Upon looking at the ingredients I found that this product is safe to use for those who have a vegan and halal requirement.
What I liked about the product:
I like the fact that the actual product was edible! Also, it left my lips feeling smooth and silky.
What I didn’t like about the product:
Okay, so I didn’t like the way the product didn’t stick together I mean it was like sugar from a jar that had been dyed, it was a messy application. I didn’t enjoy putting it on and most of the lip scrub fell either on carpet or on me – I actually had most of the product on my clothes then on my actual lips.
Since there is a lot of fallout when applying the scrub it can get quite messey. However, in my experience with lip scrubs (such as the Lush ones) they tend to commonly have fallout as they aren’t meant to stick to your lips.
Would I buy it again?
If they had changed the formula then maybe otherwise I’ll just stick to my toothbrush.
Have you tried sugar scrubs that are in stick form? I haven’t had any mess issues with those.

No I haven’t, can you recommend me any brands?

I’ve used ELF and Hard Candy, but mostly because I refuse to pay more than their prices for sugar. You could also try making your own with some sugar and oil at home. I do that for body scrubs.
